These seem to be all the rage right now, so I finally gave in and made one: they’re not bad! It’s actually true that you can’t taste the spinach. This recipe is from here.
Into a blender:
1 tbsp whole flax seeds
2 c spinach
1 c hazelnut milk (or whatever non-dairy milk you like)
Follow the above order of adding ingredients: the spinach and flax will blend better. Add a couple of ice cubes if you like it really cold.
Keep in mind that this is a super low-cal drink, so it’s NOT a meal replacement: if you’re having one for breakfast, you need to pair it with something a bit more high calorie, or you’re gonna get hungry.
